Central Library, NIT SIlchar welcomes the newly
admitted PhD students.
All the newly admitted 1st
semester PhD students are hereby informed to collect the Institute Identity Cum Library Card from the periodical section of
the library from 07.08.2017 onwards by
submitting the following documents:
Photographs-Three Nos. (One Passport size & Two Stamp size)
Photocopy of Admission Money Receipt

Instructions for filling up the Institute Identity Card Cum Library Membership
Form

Kindly fill up the form in BLOCK LETTERS only.
·
Kindly use black pen only.
·
Carefully fill up the library membership form,
temporary ID card & borrower’s card.
General
Instructions
·
Bags, Big
Money Purses & Personal belongings are not allowed inside the library. This
has to be kept near the Library Gate.
·
Students are
requested to maintain silence in the library and requested to come in Queue.
·
Students can
borrow books from the library immediately after the getting the ID card and
library borrowers card.
·
Students are
requested not to receive any damaged book/s from the library and in return
library will not accept any damage book/s from the students.
·
A large no. of
e-books & e-journals are available
for consultation. To get a softcopy of the list of such resources, please send
